NUI Presents Camp Qur’an: Arabic/Qura’n taught by Shaikh Mamdouh The daily activities will consist of learning basic Arabic and Qur’anic recitation. Shaikh Mamdouh is a Qur’an teacher at Noor-Ul-Iman School and has taught many students to be hafiz of Qur’an. Camp hours are 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Camp Qur’an operates from July 5th to August 13th. Camp Qur’an students are also eligible for extended day service through Camp Noor. In Camp Noor, your child can participate in swimming, horseback riding, bookmobile, and weekly field trips. For more information, see below. REGISTRATION INFORMATION The cost of Camp Qur’an is $65 per week. If you want your child to attend Camp Noor also, it will cost an additional $160 per week. You will receive a discount for 2 or more children. You may register for individual weeks or for the entire six week period. A 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration. Registration begins April 15, 2010, and is on a first come basis (due to horseback riding and swimming, class sizes are limited). The balance of the registration fees may be paid on a weekly basis, with payment due on the Monday of each week your child attends camp. However, if you choose to pay your full remaining balance by June 4, you will receive an additional 5% discount, 10% if you have registered your child for the full six weeks and pay in full by June 4. Trips are included in the admission fee. If a trip must be cancelled for any reason there will be no deduction in the base price of that week at camp. Pre-care (8:00 am to 9:00 am) & Aftercare (3:30 pm to 5:00 pm) are available Monday through Friday for an additional fee ($10 per day per child per session, $15 for both). NUI Presents Camp Noor: A summer camp for children ages 5-12 The daily activities will consist of recreational sports, Islamic Studies, Arabic, horseback riding, bookmobile visits, swimming, cultural activities and a weekly field trip. Camp hours are 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday. Camp begins July 5 and ends August 13. Planned Trips toplaces such as: · Botanical Gardens of NY · New York Aquarium · Bronx Zoo· Franklin Institute · Crayola Factory · Chuck E. Cheese · Battleship New Jersey REGISTRATION INFORMATION The cost of Camp Noor is $225 per week. You will receive a discount for 2 or more children. - May Tuition, Morning Care, Aftercare and Supermarket Certificate payments are due on Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Please make payments on time in order to avoid late fees. Please write your oldest child’s full name and your account number on all checks to ensure that your account will be credited properly.
- Please remember that Friday, May 7, 2010 is a half-day of school. All students in PK – 12th grade (both annex & main campus locations) will be dismissed at 11:50 am. Please pick up students from the main campus first. All students at the main campus must be signed out by 12:15 pm. Late fees will be charged for students picked up after 12:15 pm. All students at the Annex must be picked up by 12:20 pm. There will be no aftercare.
- Please note that there are no cheese steak and hot dog lunches scheduled for Thursday, May 6th. Please be sure to send a lunch with your child/children on Thursday.
- Please note that the turkey sub lunches will be given to students to take home on Friday, May 7th.

- Barnes & Noble Book Fair: Thursday, May 6th at 869 Route 1 South, North Brunswick, NJ. Please check details sent home earlier.
- Spring Rummage Sale: Saturday, May 8th from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm and Sunday, May 9th from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Annex.
- ICNA Quiz Competition: Saturday May 8th.
- Scholastic Book Fair: From Monday, May 10th through Wednesday, May 12th from 9:00 am to 11:45 am in Annex B.
- KG Science Presentation – Butterflies: Monday, May 10th Annex A.
- Pre-K Science Day – Story Time: Monday, May 10th in the multipurpose room in Annex B.
- Fifth Grade Field Trip: Monday, May 10th.
- First Grade Science Presentation – Solar System: Tuesday, May 11th in the multipurpose room in Annex B.
