The after school hafidh program at NUI is very well attended by students from 1st grade through High School. Each year two students are chosen from this program to enter the accelerated hafidh program which allows students to finish memorizing the entire Qur'an in two years. In the three years since this special program began, four students at Noor-Ul-Iman, two boys and two girls, have finished memorizing the whole Qur'an under the tutelage of our resident Sheikh Mamdouh Selim. While completing their memorization in the special accelerated hafidh program, these students are also required to attend all academic and religious classes and maintain at least a B average in all subject areas.
