NUI offers many ways for parents to get involved by contributing their skills to making our school the best it can be. If you would like more information on how you can contribute to a particular committee please feel free to contact their chairperson through the emails below.
Alumni Committee
The fruits of over a decade of investing in our students are paying off with class after class graduating high school. We desire to keep these alumni involved with the school and hope to provide whatever support we can give them for a lifetime to come.
Business Development Committee
We seek to keep our costs low by developing business partnerships with other companies as well as researching various new and creative opportunities for financial support. With some strategic thinking NUI is gaining this support from more and more non Noor Ul Iman sources for the benefit of all involved.
Finance Committee
General short- and long-term financial planning is handle here along with the preparation of proforma budgets for Board approval. Also tasked is the study of the financial implications of policies and their impact on revenue and expense items including feasibility studies for business development.
Financial Aid Committee
Sometimes a need arises where our families require help in keeping up with their obligations of being in a private school. The Helping Hands Scholarship Program exists to give every person in need a fair evaluation of their case and awards need based scholarships to the most deserving families.
Fundraising Committee
Our families are the lifeline of this school. Through planned events and coordination with the families our school continues to grow financially, which is necessary to keep us growing in step with our fast paced community.
Parent Relations Committee
The parents and guardians of NUI students play an important role in the success of our children's Islamic and academic educations. This committee focuses on building and strengthening the mutual relationship between parents and all other school members. The committe is dedicated to opening the flow of communication in order to build a strong parent partnership that will help the school succeed far into the future.
Parent Task Force
It is the mission of the Parents Task Force (PTF) to facilitate the partnership between the NUI management and the parents to achieve a financially sound and academically enriched environment for all students, teachers, and parents. PTF will seek innovative ideas to generate funds from inside and outside sources to help the school meet its financial obligations. PTF will also help foster better communications between the parents and the school management where policy matters and issues are clearly communicated and fairly applied. In line with the NUI School mission, the PTF will work to establish a community environment conducive to the building a strong partnership between parents and their school in order to achieve excellence in Islamic education for our children.
Planning/Expansion Committee
The school is growing, in number of students, staff, and building. In keeping with a legacy of planned growth done in an organized manner, members here will evaluate our current situation and project the needs necessary to increase the availabiity of our services to our growing community.
